How does ordering work at Tactix Armory?

 

At Tactix Armory, we make all fixed blade knives to order.  (Folder knives work differently, so check out the Note Number 2 if ordering a folder!)  It's not custom made, but it is made specifically for you when you place the order.  So typically there's a waiting period of around 3-4 weeks.  But we won't lie...that can vary by a week or two.

Has my order been sent yet ?

 

We'll shoot you a note when your blade ships. Remember, your made-to-order blade will take a few weeks to complete!  We recognize that you're eager to get your blade, so if it seems like it's taking a little long, don't hesitate to shoot us a note asking where we are in the process.

Communicate.

 

If you call or send us a note, we'll get back to you within 24 hours.  We're a small operation and sometimes we're out on the shop floor surrounded by noisy machinery, so we may not always pick up the phone.  Leave us a message.  If you don't hear from us, it's because we missed you somehow, so try again. We don't duck our customers.

Which methods of payment can I use?

 

We accept all major credit cards, plus Paypal.  If you want to send us a check, money order, or a chest full of pirate treasure, that's cool, too.

Ordering Folders

 

Unlike our fixed blades, our folders come in a huge variety of configurations.  As a result, we make 'em, put 'em on the site and sell them one by one.  Whatever photo you see is the exact configuration (and very likely the actual knife) that you're buying.  Sometimes we make them one at a time, sometimes two or three in a batch.  But there are no "standard" model configurations.  When they're gone, they're gone.  Normally folders ship on the next business day.

What's your guarantee?

 

Unconditional.  If something goes wrong with your knife, we'll make it right -- either by fixing it or providing you with a new blade.  The only exceptions to this policy are knives sold on our "blemished items" page, which are generally non-returnable.

Do you sell outside the United State?

 

Yes.  But... It's your responsibility to know your local laws!  We cannot accept responsibility for your shipment, if you order a knife that is illegal in your country and as a result it is seized in Customs.  We accept orders from North America, Europe and most Asian countries. We've found African and South American postal delivery to be unreliable and unacceptably long, so we don't sell to those destinations.
